STEALTH GOVERNMENT?
We the people elect our government leaders to represent us—not just special interest groups and big business. We have a
constitution, a bill of rights, a legislative branch of government, a judicial branch and an executive branch of government to insure
checks and balances to control possible abuses of power.
Our form of democracy is designed to represent and protect the people—all the people. We are a country of laws and open
government. A government “of the people, by the people, and for the people,” is not a government where secret negotiations
should occur with energy companies, or where secret wiretaps without oversight can be tolerated.
Stealth government is a danger to the future of our democracy. We do not tie the hands of our leaders from protecting us from
our enemies’. We only ask for the required oversight by the people we elect to govern our nation.
The American people have every right to demand answers and accountability from those they elect to govern. No one is above the
laws of our nation—not even the President or Vice-president of the United States.
